Marco began his career in public accounting and transitioned into industry as an Internal Auditor for a public company and lastly a Financial Analyst for an investment firm. He decided to give his career a shake up and chose a path that is more in line with his personality – as he was a bartender throughout University. As such, his unorthodox mix of an accountant’s mind and a service professional’s heart gives him a competitive advantage by being able to empathize with the candidate as well as understanding a client’s needs/wants.
The greatest joy to him is to watch his candidates succeed and seeing his client’s grow. He considers this “long-term” recruiting – where he tries to help all candidates and clients, whether there is an economic benefit or not. Furthermore, he also provides resume help, career advice and industry information sessions whenever it behooves a candidate or client.
He specializes in Accounting and Finance recruiting – with specific industry knowledge focusing within the real estate, retail, and investment fields.
Marco was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and has been in Texas since he was two. Moreover, he is quadrilingual (English, Spanish, Italian, French) and is classically trained in Tuba and Voice (Baritone).
